Four more Christmas Cards!

This beautiful Christmas card idea originally came from http://koolkittymusings.typepad.com/kool_kitty_musings/sketch_this_cards/ but I found it as a challenge at Mommysavers!

Happy Scrappy Sunday!

I am so glad I have decided to take the time to do a little scrapbooking and cardmaking on the weekends. It's supposed to be relaxing, but sometimes the minis get the best of me and I have to stop for a while. Today was one of those times, but I did get two pages done eventually and I know they just want to "help."

These pages were from when we planted our garden this summer. I used my Cricut "Walk in my Garden" cartridge to make the wheelbarrow, gardening tools and water can. I really love that cart! I'm sorry my photography isn't the best. I was finally getting the OTT Lite figured out but now it needs a new bulb.

And here is a birthday card I made yesterday. I'm trying to use up the cheap paper I got from Hobby Lobby this summer that I ended up not really liking. It's too thin and is very hard to find ribbon to match!

All these projects were for challenges at Paper Craft Planet. There is a button on the right side of my page here if you are interested in joining.

Halloween Tree and a give away...

It's almost Halloween!

Lisa at Paper Fashions is giving away a really cute Halloween stamp set. Head over and leave a comment for your chance to win! http://lisafalduto.blogspot.com/

I am on Fall Break this weekend thru Tuesday so I have been playing with my Cricut. I have missed it so much! This morning, the minis and I made a Halloween tree. I used the Cricut Doodlecharms cartridge to make pumpkins and spiders. The ribbon and orange bucket are from the Target dollar spot and the branches are from our yard. I apologize for the poor photography. The pictures were taken with my phone.

School days are here again!

Well you guys, school starts next week for me and I am busy this week trying to get my house in order and everything ready. I have a few Christmas cards I started putting together on Saturday, but have not finished them.

I really am not sure how much scrapbooking and cardmaking I will get done this semester, but I will try to update my blog as much as possible.

Don't forget about me!

I Finally Won!

I never, ever win any contest or giveaways, which is a bummer sometimes, but I love making stuff, so in the end I really do win, right? Anyway, I entered a contest at Mommysavers.com last week and I won! It was quite an accomplishment because the other entries were awesome. I won a $25 gift certificate to Coordinates Collections. If you have a minute stop over there because it's a great little store. I am also giving away the set that I made for this contest. If you are a member of MS you can sign up in the RAK forum here. If you aren't a member of MS, what are you waiting for? Join now! We have a great scrap forum over there.

Cuttlebug Spot Challenge

This challenge from The Cuttlebug Spot is to make a card using your favorite Cuttlebug folder. My very favorite is Swiss Dots. I had overlooked it for so long until I saw it used on someone else's project and I had to have it!

This card was made with Stampin' Up paper and cardstock. I believe the DSP is Rockabilly. The stamps are also SU. The sentiment says "grateful."

Mojo Monday!

Here is my entry for Mojo Monday 98. I realize for sure that I need to get some better stamps. I have awesome SU paper, and a few SU stamps, but I think I'll head over to Verve Stamps this weekend and pick some out! I also need to point out that the ribbon looks much better in person. It's much closer to the green cardstock, but the picture doesn't do it justice. LOL
